There are many actions to take in order to get the most out of your mentorship. These actions include: being early, discussing the details of your job duties, dressing professionally, showing enthusiasm, immersing yourself in the atmosphere of your job, and always doing your best work.

This article that laid out the pointers above will help me to excel in the classroom setting of my mentorship and learn all I can during my year long experience. By always doing my own best work, I will be in a position to help students do their best work in the classroom. Because my mentor is a former teacher of mine, the lines of communication are open for me to discuss anything that is needed for me to do to best help her. I also truly immerse myself within the atmosphere of the school and get excited when 7th period rolls around and I get the opportunity to learn and grow as an aspiring teacher.

I cannot wait to use what I learned from this article and my year as a Honors Mentorship student to further my career.
